Key job responsibilities - Manage payroll data from multiple sources to prepare them for payroll calculation (country scope is Germany) - Assist with data validation and quality control - Support employees and HR teams with simple payroll inquiries - Help prepare reports for local authorities, Finance and others - Participate in process improvement initiatives - Opportunity to lead "Just Do It" improvement projects - Upkeep of payroll processes and inventory (Standard Operational Procedures, process maps etc.) Basic Qualifications: - Excellent customer service orientation - 1 year of general work experience (payroll experience not required) - Fluency in German and English - Basic MS Excel skills (willing to learn advanced features) - Strong attention to detail - Eagerness to learn and grow - Basic analytical skills Preferred Qualifications: - Basic understanding of HR or finance concepts - Familiar with SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP, or any payroll software Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
