What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Level 1 payroll certification, Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or equivalent certification, 5 years of payroll experience, year-end experience, payroll systems experience, experience in system upgrades, experience in system testing, experience in system implementations, experience in ongoing system maintenance, experience maintaining employee master data, experience performing reconciliations related to payroll, pension, and benefit accounts, experience preparing internal and external reports, Microsoft Office skills, Excel skills, Word skills, ability to work independently, written communication skills, verbal communication skills, ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Nice to Have
Hands-on use of SAP payroll modules, Ceridian/Dayforce experience

Process full cycle payroll
troubleshoot and resolve errors
Monitor and troubleshoot service provider errors
Participate in system upgrades

Liaise with Human Resources

Liaise with pension and benefit providers

We’re excited to share that Payroll Analyst. **Job Description:** The Payroll Analyst reports to the Director, Accounting & Corporate Reporting and works under the guidance of the Senior Payroll Leader. This position is responsible for assisting in the administration and preparation of the corporate payroll including all year-end processes, development of reports including timely distribution, preparation and input of journal entries, maintenance of data in SAP and Dayforce, ensuring compliance with collective agreements, and preparation of account reconciliations. The role is also responsible for completing testing and implementing all system upgrade
