Basic payroll knowledge, PeopleSoft Financial System experience
What You'll Do.
and local tax returns
Respond to tax notices and inquiries
Prepare monthly payroll account reconciliations
Prepare journal entries
Update PeopleSoft Financial System
Process company expenses and liabilities
Charge clients sweep accounts
Communicate charges to clients
Verify weekly W2 audit
Assure year-to-date wages and taxes are in balance
Track additions or omissions from tax summary
Ensure state and local tax filings are current
Complete PeopleSoft set up
Add/modify departments in PeopleSoft
Add/modify GL set up in PeopleSoft
Add/modify state/local tax set up in PeopleSoft
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Prepare quarterly worksheet listing
Prepare State Unemployment Insurance tax payments
Submit payments to tax service provider
Prepare AP vendor set-up in PeopleSoft
Update changes to existing vendors
Assist with setting up Payroll Calendars in PeopleSoft
Respond to requests and inquiries from clients
Respond to requests and inquiries from Accounting department
Prepare monthly salary accrual
Prepare monthly hourly accrual
Process queries in PeopleSoft
Ensure State Unemployment Tax rates are current and
Assist with annual Earned Income Credit reporting
Perform other related duties as assigned
