What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration or related field, 3 years’ experience or more in account management or sales in the healthcare industry specializing in Managed Care

Nice to Have

Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field, 5 years’ experience or more in healthcare account management or sales experience with a focus on managed care, including areas such as value-based care, contracting, population health management, physician groups, accountable care organizations, and risk-based payment models, Experience conducting contract negotiations, encompassing both financial terms and contractual language

What You'll Do.

Develop new managed care relationships

Drive retention and organic growth

Serve as primary liaison for initiative implementation

Negotiate new agreements

Manage existing contracts

Establish and maintain professional relationships

Reinforce Labcorp's position

Demonstrate and communicate value-add solutions

Partner with Regional Managers

Take ownership of revenue retention

Resolve issues and concerns

Inform management of competitive activity

Provide timely reports and updates

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Partners closely with Regional Managers of Business Development; Proven success working with cross-functional partners (e.g., Legal, Revenue Cycle Management, IT, Quality); Collaboration with the ACO, hospital and physician sales teams

Communication Scope

written and verbal communication skills; Ability to build positive business relationships
