About the Role We are seeking an experienced Payment Ops Specialist to support global payment operations across multiple banking partners, currencies, and payment rails. This role combines payment execution, payment approvals, operational risk management, data analysis, and process improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring payment accuracy, supporting liquidity management, identifying operational risks, and leveraging automation and AI tools to improve efficiency. The role requires a highly analytical individual who can interpret operational data, identify trends, challenge existing processes, and work collaboratively with Treasury, Finance, Compliance, Product, and Technology teams. What You'll Do Authorise and process domestic and international payments across SWIFT, ACH, SEPA, FPS, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and Direct Debit rails. Monitor payment queues, bank cut-offs, funding positions and payment exceptions. Investigate rejected payments, recalls, returns and settlement issues. Support liquidity monitoring across multiple currencies and banking partners. Produce operational MI, dashboards and performance reporting.
