What You'll Do.

Greets customers in a friendly manner
Learns customers’ names and addresses them by name whenever possible
Assists customers with suggestions or requests
Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly
Operates cash register accurately and scans product
Reports improper cash levels in cash drawer
Redeems promotional coupons
completes credit-card charge transactions
in-store charges and figures discounts
Counts back change and issues receipts
Places merchandise in bags or boxes and gives packages to customers
Ensures adequate supply of silverware
and beverage cups are on hand
Refills and maintains coffee service area supplies
Understands and practices proper sanitation procedures
Ensures the work area is always clean and neat
Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress
Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines
Reports to work when scheduled and on time
