Eligibility Requirements

Must be able to pass a criminal background, MVR and drug screen, Regularly required to talk or hear, Frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, May be required to walk, Handle or feel objects, tools or reach with hands, Climb balance, Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, Specific vision abilities required, Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently, Exerting up to 20 pounds of force constantly, Work performed outdoors for extended periods, Subject to extreme heat and cold weather, Travel of up to 5% may be required

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Must be at least 18 years of age, Must be able to pass a criminal background, MVR and drug screen, Must complete the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park, Must complete HIPAA Training provided by Towne Park and, if required, by the hospital, Must be able to read and write standard English language, Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, Must be able to write simple correspondence, Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance, Must be able to understand 24 hour and military time systems

Nice to Have

Customer service experience preferred, Internal Patient Transport experience preferred, Computer experience preferred

What You'll Do.

Provide exceptional hospitality services

Transport patients within the hospital

friendly and professional demeanor

Explain all procedures to the patient

Collect transport equipment

Ensure patient comfort

Communicate patient needs to clinical staff

Perform a physical handoff

Confirm patient identity

Ensure patients are not left unattended

Transport and secure medical charts

Utilize proper safe patient handling techniques

Provide way finding services

Demonstrate proper use of tracking system

Maintain accuracy and composure

Conduct effective room presentation

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Work with location staff and co-workers; Communicate patient needs to clinical staff; Perform a physical handoff with receiving clinical staff
