Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, BLS certified within 6 months
Nice to Have
Oral and written communication skills desirable, Organizational skills desirable, Typing skills desirable, Leadership skills desirable, Previous experience in guest services or hospitality, Experience in physically demanding work environment, Computer and data entry skills desirable
What You'll Do.
Role model Advocate Health image
Perform excellence customer service
Provide guest/transport services
Transport patients with medical devices/equipment
Coordinate activities to guide patients
Adjust oxygen liter flow
Determine oxygen cylinder PSI
Transfer oxygen canula tubing
Perform safe patient handling
Perform patient lifts
Perform patient transfers
Provide education to patients and visitors/guests
Answer questions regarding support services
Provide appropriate resource(s)
Use capacity management system
Assist with care and maintenance of transport equipment
Ensure equipment is safe
Inspect equipment before and after use
Identify defective equipment
Report defective equipment to supervisor
Monitor facilities to ensure environment is safe and
Remove unattended equipment from hallways
Ensure equipment not blocking electrical panels
Ensure equipment not blocking fire extinguishers
Ensure equipment not blocking emergency exits
Maintain equipment inventory
Complete and maintain required training
Complete and maintain educational programs
Complete and maintain certification
Attend meetings as required
Adhere to Advocate Health policies
Adhere to departmental policies and procedures
