2 year of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or other related fields
What You'll Do.
complex patient/customer problem solving
registering patients in treatment rooms
assists with patient check-out
schedules patient appointments
schedules incoming/outgoing referrals
schedules in office procedures
maintains and modifies provider navigates
reconciles multidepartment deposit
obtains insurance authorizations
verifies that prior authorization has been
assists with retroactive insurance denials/appeals
complex EMR/EHR scanning
Right Fax faxing and uploading to EPIC
assists with training new team members utilizing standard work
perform the role of Patient Services Representative
Associate when necessary
actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures
completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis
