What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2 year of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or other related fields
What You'll Do.
complex patient/customer problem solving
registering patients in treatment rooms
assists with patient check-out
schedules patient appointments
incoming/outgoing referrals
maintains and modifies provider navigates external patient referral
reconciles multidepartment deposit
Obtains insurance authorizations and/or verifies that prior authorization has been assists with retroactive insurance denials/appeals
complex EMR/EHR scanning and Right Fax faxing and uploading to EPIC
training new team members utilizing standard work
perform the role of Patient Services Representative
Associate when necessary
participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures
completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis
