Part time position, 7:30 a. m. to 5:00 p. m., no weekends, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement if in an on-site or hybrid workplace category
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or equivalent, 2 year of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or other related fields
What You'll Do.
and clerical services
Complex patient/customer problem solving
including high level discernment when registering patients in treatment rooms
Perform administrative functions
but not limited to: assists with patient check-out; schedules patient appointments
incoming/outgoing referrals
including medical record review of incoming maintains and modifies provider navigates external patient referral reconciles multidepartment deposit
Obtain insurance authorizations and/or verifies that prior authorization has been assists with retroactive insurance denials/appeals
Responsible for complex EMR/EHR scanning and Right Fax faxing and uploading to EPIC
Assist with training new team members utilizing standard work
Perform the role of Patient Services Representative
Associate when necessary
Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis
Performs other duties as assigned
