What They're Looking For.

Must Have

High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge, Certification for BLS is required within 60 days of hire, one year of customer service preferably in a hospital or physician office setting, excellent organizational skills, effective human relations and communication skills, Demonstrate responsiveness, anticipate needs, taking initiative, good follow through and follow up, ability to multi-task, Demonstrate compassion, caring, ability to establish trust, Computer literacy is required

Nice to Have

Working knowledge of medical terminology, Additional related education and/or experience preferred

What You'll Do.

Perform receptionist/clerical duties

Resolve customer issues and concerns

Assist in managing patient belongings

Support family and visitors

Collect necessary data

Follow through for problem resolution

Support operating efficiency

Maintain awareness of patient admissions and discharges

Perform environmental checks

Provide room orientation

Ensure equipment and supplies are stocked

Report and track all equipment

Ensure replacement equipment is available

Track and trend issues

Report areas of concern

Ensure inventory of patient education materials

Follow up on patient and family inquiries

Partner with appropriate caregiver/department

Communicate with patient

Maintain adequate levels of supplies

Complete requisition forms

Reconcile supply order upon delivery

Observe and enforce Quiet Time

Assist department with quality and safety projects

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Facilitates communication between members of the care delivery teams; Acts as a liaison with internal and external contacts; collaborative environment between staff, physicians and other therapies; Interacts with other Service Coordinators and other staff at all levels throughout the facility
