Must Have
Less than 1 year related experience and or training, visual acuity adequate to perform position duties, ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
Nice to Have
High School or GED Equivalent
What You'll Do.
Maintains timely flow of patients which includes coordinating appointment scheduling
and co-workers in a prompt
courteous and helpful manner
Checks patients in at desk and gathers necessary demographic
insurance information and co pays as appropriate
Answers multiple line telephone and routes calls does not leave caller on hold or unattended for extended periods of time
Alerts appropriate personnel to urgent messages/issues that require immediate attention
Assist the provider and nurse with other support duties as time allows
including but not limited to: making copies
completion of disabilities forms
and fax items as requested
Responsible to maintain patient records in an orderly fashion and accessible to the provider while maintaining patient confidentiality
Responsible for completing prior authorizations on procedures ordered by the provider

Be part of a multidisciplinary team; serves as a member of the provider's Care Team in coordinating the flow of patients; Work effectively in a team environment, coordinating work flow with other team members and ensuring a productive and efficient environment
