What You'll Do.
Ensure patient information is accurate
Collect patient responsibility
Complete registration for walk-in patients
Verify demographic information
Update demographic information
Verify insurance benefits
Calculate patient responsibility
Communicate payment expectations
Identify patients needing financial assistance
Refer patients to Financial Advocate
Coordinate patient financial resources
Request Financial Obligation Form
Request Advanced Beneficiary Notice
Perform visit closure
Collect additional patient responsibility
Provide patient documents
Schedule patient visits
Assist with new caregiver onboarding
Work assigned EPIC work queues
Follow department workflow process
Maintain public relations
Work collaboratively with others
Communicate issues to management
Maintain knowledge of payer requirements
Maintain knowledge of insurance plans
