What You'll Do.

Schedule hospital and ambulatory admissions

Verbalize procedure for collection of pre-admission testing data

Coordinate required testing prior to admission

Ensure all information and consents are on site

Schedule and enter diagnostic tests and procedures

Arrange and distribute surgery schedule

Communicate problems to Nurse/Physician/Clinical Manager

Employ appropriate and timely use of tasking

Accurately complete any/all necessary forms

Perform various clerical duties

Establish and maintain a positive working relationship

Demonstrate understanding of submission of necessary documents

Demonstrate working knowledge of booking and scheduling

Demonstrate working knowledge of insurance and pre-certification requirements

Demonstrate working knowledge for rescheduling and canceling procedures

Demonstrate customer service skills when communicating

Verbalize customer services skills to alleviate patient anxiety

Demonstrate good judgment in scheduling procedure

Demonstrate understanding of emergency procedures
