What You'll Do.
Communicate proactively with co-workers
physicians and patients
Inform patients of delay in physician schedules
Post all self-pay charges
Provide patient with receipt
Reconcile daily payments
Open and close batches properly
Reconcile collections
Scan the insurance card
Process insurance verifications
Update the patient account
verify and update patient information
Explain and complete necessary forms for the patient
Obtain and witness necessary signatures
Explain par and non-par insurance plans
Refer applicable patients to financial counselors
Schedule appointments accurately
Use waitlist when applicable
Schedule and enter orders for diagnostic tests
Schedule and enter orders for procedures
Follow all appropriate workflows
Reconcile billing slips to daily schedule
Perform clerical duties
or issues to the Office
Answer the telephone promptly
Direct all calls appropriately
Take an accurate message
Deliver message to the appropriate individual
Confirm future appointments
Review Eligibility and Phone report
