What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A High School Degree or GED, Computer Proficiency and superior keyboarding skills (approximately 55 wpm), Ability to effectively interact with physicians, patients and other staff members
Nice to Have
Experience working in any high-volume/high-intensity service industry (e.g., hospitality, restaurant, hospital, medical office or retail environment), Bilingual language skills required or preferred based on site location.
What You'll Do.
Greeting and welcoming patients
Organizing and coordinating patient in-take
Accurately enters/updates patient information
Assisting patients with completion of paperwork
updating and filing medical records
Answering phone calls
Processing medical insurance information
Handling cash and co-payments
Providing outstanding customer service
Informing site manager of waiting room wait times
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Coordinating with the rest of the team; Liaise with Billing department as appropriate; Interact with physicians, patients and other staff members
Communication Scope
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
