What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Three years of experience in a customer service role, Ability to handle extensive phone work, Ability to learn medical practice protocols and the EHR scheduling system, Knowledge of customer service principles and techniques, Ability and desire to learn medical terminology, Knowledge of basic math and modern office procedures, Ability to multitask effectively, Ability to communicate calmly and clearly with patients, Ability to analyze situations and respond appropriately, Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient records
Nice to Have
Spanish Translation Certification (CHI or CMI)
What You'll Do.
Make calls with courtesy and compassion
Inform patients of visit requirements
Facilitate patient flow
Communicate changes with patients and clinical staff
Explain financial requirements to patients
Schedule appointments using EHR
Make reminder calls one business day before appointments
Maintain the schedule
Perform other duties as assigned
