What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree, 8+ years experience, Experience supporting patients through complex access and reimbursement pathways, Experience independently managing complex patient access and reimbursement situations, Understanding of insurance and the access process, Understanding of specialty pharmacy distribution models, Understanding of prior authorizations, Understanding of appeals, Understanding of financial assistance programs, Proven ability to influence outcomes, Experience serving as a trusted resource, mentor, trainer, or informal leader
Nice to Have
Experience supporting launches of specialty or rare disease therapies, Clinical background such as RN, NP, PA, PharmD, Experience supporting patients with neurological or central nervous system disorders, Experience contributing to the development of field tools, educational resources, onboarding programs, or operational processes, Experience leading regional initiatives, special projects, or field excellence efforts
What You'll Do.
Serve as primary field-based educational resource
Provide disease and therapy education
Guide patients through onboarding and treatment initiation
Build trusted relationships with patients and families
Support treatment readiness
Navigate the patient journey
Identify and address access-related barriers
Facilitate resolution with stakeholders
Monitor patient progression through onboarding and access processes
Serve as trusted resource for complex cases
Escalate issues as appropriate
Develop relationships with healthcare providers and office staff
Educate providers on patient support resources
Partner closely with Market Access
Address patient needs
Improve patient experience
Inform patient support strategies
Inform process improvements
Inform best practices
Participate in launch readiness activities
Participate in field initiatives
Participate in special projects
Support successful therapy initiation
Support patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation
Analyze territory performance
