Provide dialysis therapy
Operate hemodialysis machines
Maintain safe environment
Evaluate vascular access
Initiate dialysis treatment
Evaluate intradialytic problems
Monitor patient response
Discontinue dialysis treatment
Evaluate patient prior to discharge
Calculate and program dialysis machine
Record treatment parameters
Document patient treatment information
Report patient condition changes
Conduct machine safety checks
Document interventions
Evaluate patients' vascular access
Obtain laboratory testing
Prepare specimens for collection
Utilize supplies and equipment
Monitor self-care patients
Assist patients with self-care
Participate in recruitment
Assist with clinical orientation
Assist with staff training
Function as preceptor
Deliver competency evaluations
