What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or G. E. D., Successful completion of CPR certification, Successful completion of the Fresenius Medical Care dialysis training program
Nice to Have
Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting, Previous patient care experience in a related facility
What You'll Do.
Provide safe and effective dialysis therapy
and operate hemodialysis machines
Obtain and document pre- and post-treatment vital signs
Obtain and document patient weight
Evaluate vascular access pre-treatment
Perform vascular access cannulation
Evaluate intradialytic problems
Provide intervention as prescribed
Monitor patients’ response to dialysis therapy
Evaluate patient prior to termination
Discontinue dialysis treatment
Report significant information to supervisor
Report change in patient condition
Enter all treatment data
and prepare lab samples
Clean dialysis machine surface
Disinfect dialysis machine chair
Disinfect surrounding area
Assist with patient education
Use equipment efficiently
