Nice to Have
Acute care experience with in the last 3 years, Currently enrolled in ASN or BSN program, Preference given to those enrolled in Associates or Bachelor’s degree Nursing programs and completed at least one clinical rotation
What You'll Do.
Provide direct patient care
Assist with non-direct patient care unit coordination
Perform basic nursing procedures
Assist RN in care of acutely ill patients
Practice medical asepsis
Respect patient dignity and privacy
Maintain objectivity during patient care
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Respond appropriately during emergency situations
Maintain patient/family environment
Perform general unit upkeep
Use accurate verbal and written communication
Document patient care appropriately
Perform patient admissions
Obtain and document direct patient care activities
Participate in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives
Accurately document vital signs
Report changes in patient's condition
Participate in unit activity such as supply stocking
Perform other duties as assigned
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Assist the RN in the care of acutely ill patients; Work under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse; Receive specific work assignments from the Charge Nurse and/or Care Team Leader
