**Job Description:** This position functions as both a Patient Care Tech (PCT) and Health Unit Coordinator (HUC). A Patient Care Tech functions as a clinical support partner assisting the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional. A Health Unit Coordinator, under the direction of nursing leadership, facilitates unit organization and patient care by assisting in the coordination of patient, nursing, physician and other health care provider office and clerical activities. **📍 Location: **Intermountain Medical Center – Murray, Utah **🏢 Department/Unit: **Surgical Center - Same Day Surgery / PACU **📅 Shifts:** Part-time | 24 hours/week | 12-hour shifts **🕒 Schedule:** **Monday - Friday days - no nights, weekends or major holidays** **💵 Pay:** Starting at $18.22+ (based on patient care experience) **🎁 Benefits:** Health, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Education Assistance & more! ***Looking for a Certified Nursing assistants with one year of patient care experience, preferably in a hospital setting!** _**Job Essentials**_ Patient Care: Prioritizes and delivers basic patient care which may include toileting, bathing, linen and clothing changes, fresh water and ice, ambulating, comfort measures, and other patient needs. Assists with admission, discharge, and transfer of patients. Provides excellent customer service when responding to patient and family requests. Reports and records patient care findings and data in a timely manner. Reports changes in the patient condition quickly and secures qualified assistance as needed. Based on unit, may also be responsible for telemetry duties. Can function as a patient care attendant by monitoring patient, taking care of patient care needs, and involving other members of the patient care team as needed.
