What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or GED, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Basic computer knowledge and skills
Nice to Have
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), One year recent acute care experience, Military experience as Hospital Corpsman, Military experience as Combat Medic, Military experience as Medical Service Technician
What You'll Do.
Provide and document assigned care
Take and document patient vital signs
Perform treatment procedures
Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care
Assist and accompany patients during admission
Perform hourly safety rounds
Anticipate patient needs
Respond to patient call lights promptly
and transport specimens
Document patient care in EMR
Keep patient rooms in order
Report equipment that is out of order
Inventory and distribute unit linen and supplies
Complete ongoing competency requirements
Complete education programs
Complete mandatory training
