Must Have
High School Diploma or GED, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Prior job or educational experience providing basic computer knowledge
Nice to Have
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), One year of recent acute care experience, Military experience as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Military experience as a Combat Medic (68W), Military experience as a Medical Service Technician (4N0X1)
What You'll Do.
patient rooms and beds
Provide and document assigned care
Take and document patient's temperature
Take and document patient's pulse
Take and document patient's respirations
Take and document patient's blood pressure
Take and document patient's pulse oximetry
Take and document patient's weight
Take and document patient's height
Perform treatment procedures
Assist with pre-operative care
Assist with post-operative care
Turn and position patients
Apply special equipment
Utilize special equipment
Assist and accompany patients during admission
Assist and accompany patients during transfer
Assist and accompany patients during discharge
Perform hourly safety rounds
Anticipate patient needs
Respond to patient call lights
Document patient care
Keep patient rooms in order
Report equipment out of order
