10 years of medical office management experience, Front desk medical experience required, computer skills, Experience with word processing and database software, Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse, patient, colleague, and vendor population. This includes listening, sales and problem-solving skills., Excellent oral and written communication skills., Basic understanding of accounting procedures and good math aptitude., customer service orientation., Excellent organizational skills., Ability to manage multiple tasks within strict deadlines., Ability to input and track sales revenues and balance accounts daily and monthly., Detail oriented.
Nice to Have
Experience with front desk in the hearing industry is a plus
What You'll Do.
Greet and screen patients
Answer questions about services
Handle insurance verification
Partner with clinic teams
Assist with marketing efforts
Provide the first contact for patients
Schedule and confirm appointments
Coordinate provider’s schedule
Check patients in and out
Maintain all daily reports
Verify patient information
Work with insurance agencies
Responsible for administrative tasks
Verify the status of hearing aids
Work with the hearing care provider
Track marketing calls
Open and close the office
