Equivalent combination of education and experience, Knowledge of private billing and collections regulations, Knowledge of government, commercial, and third party insurance contract practices, Knowledge of claims processing procedures
What You'll Do.
Work follow up records in work queues
Process insurance claims correspondence
Read and interpret EOBs
Process appropriate refund
Present unresolved concerns to Supervisor
Document account activity accurately
Analyze and correct patient accounts
Correspondence with insurance companies
Identify and update insurance entry information
Maintain understanding of health insurance plans
