**_Job Family_ :** Patient Account Representative ** _Travel Required_ :** None ** _Clearance Required_ :** None Job Posting ** _What You Will Do_ :** The **Call Center / Customer Service Representative – Healthcare** is an extension of a client’s business office staff. Representatives are responsible for taking in-coming and out-going calls to patients and insurance companies to resolve patient accounts. All client policies and procedures are followed. Representatives will perform any and all job-related duties as assigned This position will be based Monday through Friday out of our San Antonio, TX office. Individuals must be able to work an eight hour shift between the hours of 8:30 AM CT - 5:30 PM CT, with no remote work initially but opportunity for some hybrid (in office/remote) after training. __ **The qualified individual will be receiving incoming calls and making outbound calls.** * Inbound calling emphasis * Account Review * EOB knowledge * Assist patients with policy statuses and insurance verifications * Customer Service * Account Updates * Strong Verbal / Written Communication Skills * Complete all business-related requests and correspondence from patients. * Complete all assigned projects in a timely manner. * Assist client and patients in all requested tasks. * Communicate to Guidehouse management areas of concern or areas of improvement. * Research and respond to all patient inquiries received by telephone and mail. * Update patient demographic information and initiate account adjustments. * Individuals must be able to work an eight hour shift between the hours of 8:30 AM CT - 5:30 PM CT, with no remote work initially but opportunity for some hybrid (in office/remote) after training. _**We will consider individuals open to relocation to San Antonio!**_ **_What You Will Need_ :** * High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent experience in lieu of diploma / GED. * 0-2+ years working within the following sectors: healthcare, insurance,
