**_Job Family_ :** Patient Account Representative ** _Travel Required_ :** None ** _Clearance Required_ :** None ** _What You Will Do_ :** The Patient Account Cashier will perform duties that of a cashier in the Hospital Business Office. **Primary duties and responsibilities:** * The Cashier works closely with the billing, accounts receivable, and revenue cycle teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records. * Receives and disburses money for services. * Operates cash registers and ensures accurate and efficient accounts of all transactions. * In retail setting, assists with the receiving, unpacking, stocking, displaying, pricing, and sales of merchandise. * Maintains clean and organized checkout area. **_What You Will Need_ :** * High School Diploma or equivalent * 0-2 years of prior relevant experience **​** ** _What Would Be Nice to Have_ :** * Healthcare experience in billing, revenue cycle, or medical cash posting * Knowledge of EOBs and ERAs * Data entry experience * Strong attention to details * Ability to handle high volumes of transactions efficiently * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Previous experience with STAR / Waystar / Phreesia / EPIC #IndeedSponsored #LI-DNI ** _What We Offer_ :** Guidehouse offers a comprehensive, total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflects our commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.
