High School Diploma or equivalent, Demonstrated computer skills, ability to navigate most current technology systems

Associate's Degree, One year of health care experience
What You'll Do.
Greeting and registering patients
Answering telephone calls
Scheduling appointments
Pulling and filing medical charts
Provides excellent customer service
Interviews and registers patients
Obtains accurate demographic
and physician information
Screens customer data for insurance eligibility
Screens registrations for insurance pre-certification
Assists in identifying self-pay patients
Establishes and maintains open communication
Assists in shadowing/precepting new employees
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Establishes and maintains open communication with all departments that Patient Access interacts with and clinical staff in those areas.
