Full Job Description

## Accountabilities Supervise and coordinate daily patient access and pre-registration activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of workflows. Lead, coach, and develop frontline staff, including training delivery, onboarding, performance feedback, and corrective actions. Monitor and report key operational metrics such as productivity, wait times, point-of-service collections, overtime, and scheduling efficiency. Manage staffing schedules, time-off requests, call-offs, and coverage to ensure consistent departmental performance and compliance. Support revenue cycle performance through oversight of upfront collections, registration accuracy, and insurance verification processes. Conduct audits and ongoing performance reviews to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and service standards. Serve as a resource and escalation point for staff and ancillary departments, resolving operational issues efficiently. Participate in process improvement initiatives, staff evaluations, departmental meetings, and assigned projects to enhance operational effectiveness. Requirements: 1–3 years of experience in patient access, revenue cycle, healthcare operations, or related administrative healthcare roles. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. 2–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in healthcare or business operations preferred. Strong knowledge of patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and hospital billing processes. Ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor metrics and identify performance improvement opportunities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general healthcare administrative systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with staff, patients, and cross-functional teams.
