Must Have
Bachelor degree in Psychology, Social Work, School Counselor, or related fields and/or child development, High School/GED or equivalent degree required, Counselors must be 18 years of age
Nice to Have
Experience with children is strongly preferred, Work experience with children and families preferred, Familiarity and comfort with MS Office Applications, particularly Access and Excel are desired
What You'll Do.
Assist in implementation of clinical and operational aspects
Assist in recruitment of program community families
Conduct community outreach
Assist in daily preparation of staff/child/program needs
Support transportation changes/challenges
Attend group supervision meetings
Support planning and implementation of classroom lessons
Use behavior management and reward systems
Encourage development of positive social-emotional habits
Encourage development of coping skills
Function as extension of crisis intervention
Provide 1:1 support services
Other duties as assigned

Work collaboratively with group counselors; Collaborate with program supervisors; Interacting with others at the University; Interacting with Vendors and/or External Organizations; Interactions with program families; Interactions with school personnel; Interactions with transportation staff
