Must Have
Doctor of medicine or osteopathy, Unlimited license to practice medicine, Approved four year residency, Two year surgical fellowship, Certified in anatomic or clinical pathology, One year pathology experience, Successful pre-employment visual color test

What You'll Do.
Examine and interpret prepared tissue sections
Interpret body fluids and secretions
Use microscope techniques
Diagnose presence and stage of disease
Diagnose abnormalities
Utilize laboratory techniques
Identify etiology of diseases
Identify pathogenesis of diseases
Identify morphological change
Identify clinical significance of diseases
Consult with physicians
Provide diagnostic information
Write pathology reports
Participate in proficiency testing
Participate in intradepartmental meetings
Establish measures for accuracy
Improve quality of care
Participate in professional organizations
Perform gross examination
Perform specimen dissection
Perform specimen description
Train laboratory personnel
Educate laboratory personnel
Take photographs of specimens
Plan pathology staff work
