What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5 to 8 years of related industry experience, Minimum of 2 years experience with modern scripting languages (e. g. Python, Node. js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e. g. C/C++, Java, C#) in a professional capacity, Experience implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem, Demonstrated ability to work with customers to review complex architecture of existing applications, providing guidance on how to improve by leveraging technology, Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical and business concepts in a clear and compelling manner to technology and business leadership, Ability to work with a cross functional sales team to formulate and execute an end to end deal cycle, A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Nice to Have

2 years of experience in a partner facing role, Experience developing, deploying, or supporting applications with any of the major cloud providers, Experience working in a technical pre-sales capacity, Experience with database programming and data models, Experience in data engineering or AI/ML projects, Understanding of popular sales methodologies/ frameworks such as MEDDPICC/ Command of the Message, A MongoDB Certification, A Cloud Provider Certification

What You'll Do.

Guide customers and partners to design and build systems

Work closely with field partner leaders

Win deals and drive business forward

Advise startups to enterprise IT organizations

Work with advisory consulting partners on reference architectures

Articulate business value of MongoDB solutions

Partner with account teams for success

Support sales with technical activities

Translate technical concepts into business benefits

Act as a liaison to Product Management

Help drive demand through trade-shows

Drive customer demand within sales territory

Support and mentor pre-sales team members

Build and maintain relationships with technical partners

Drive partner demand within sales territory

Drive partner Center of Excellence strategies

Create demand for MongoDB solutions

Respond appropriately to partner objections

Build joint proposals with partners

Drive strategy and implementation of solution architecture

Mentor local partner organizations

Create strategies mapping industry trends

Create strategies mapping competitive threats

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Work closely with our field partner leaders; Work with a cross functional sales team; Partner with our account teams; Support and mentor other pre-sales team members; Team up to build joint proposals with partners

Communication Scope

Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; Ability to convey complex technical and business concepts in a clear and compelling manner

Process & Methodology

Formulate and execute an end to end deal cycle, Working across a number of opportunities in parallel
