What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of experience in a technical writing, knowledge management, or content strategy role, with demonstrated ownership over a content library or knowledge, Experience writing and editing for varied audiences, including both technical and non-technical, Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce style guides and content, Experience writing or editing scripts for video content (training, product, or explainer formats), Experience with tech tools and the language commonly used with, Familiarity with knowledge management systems and Help Center platforms (e. g. , Zendesk, Confluence, Pendo, or similar), organizational skills and the ability to manage a content review cycle across a large body of and, Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with training staff, partnership teams, and subject matter experts
Nice to Have
Experience in a civic engagement, nonprofit, or mission-driven technology, Background in instructional design and familiarity with adult learning, Experience using AI-assisted tools to accelerate writing or editing, Familiarity with video production workflows (even just the scripting/storyboarding side), Experience training stakeholders on how to use and contribute to a knowledge management system
What You'll Do.
and continuously improve knowledge articles in the Help Center
Establish and execute a regular content review cycle
Prepare written materials for partner and Partnership Success Manager (PSM) trainings
Translate technical words and work into easy to use and understand content
engaging scripts for training and product videos
Edit scripts produced by others
Develop a comprehensive style guide for all Murmuration-produced content
Own ongoing enforcement of style standards
Serve as a quality control resource across content produced by the team
Proactively identify gaps
or inefficiencies in how knowledge is organized and surfaced
Recommend and implement improvements to tools
and content architecture
