Full Job Description
**Summary:** Busy newspaper warehouse and mailroom position. We are looking for a self-starter and quick learner to join our team helping to get our local newspapers into the hands of our readers. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule with hours of 5:15 pm up to 2:30 am, Saturday start time 4:30 pm(+/-). **What you will do:** * Feed inserts into our SLS 2000 insert machine * Take bundled newspapers off of our Quipp stacking machines and place on skids * Shrink wrap skids and stage for delivery * Light maintenance * Reports to mailroom supervisors and or manager * Help Supervisor with loading and unloading truck of inserts * Assist logging inserts into Web Exchange program * Clean up after shift **What you will bring:** * Able to operate a forklift and or motorized pallet jack to move materials within the warehouse * Good mechanical aptitude, ability to understand and work with machinery and equipment * Attention to detail, accuracy and precision in handling materials and documentation * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the work day ****Benefits and Compensation:**** The hourly range is $12.00 - $15.00 + one time sign on bonus.
