What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree from accredited SLPA program, Bachelor's degree in communication sciences, Valid SLP-A license or certification, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Experience with early intervention, Experience working with children with autism, Willingness to obtain RBT certification
Nice to Have
Previous experience in clinical setting, Previous experience in educational setting, Understanding of speech and language development, Understanding of common communication disorders
What You'll Do.
Assist SLP in providing therapy
Implement individualized treatment plans
Communicate with clients and families
Communicate with other professionals
Monitor client progress
Document subjective findings
Document objective findings
Report changes in client status
Maintain accurate client records
Collaborate with healthcare professionals
Participate in team meetings
Participate in case reviews
Participate in training sessions
