At Guzman y Gomez, we believe in authentic flavours and the power of food to bring people together. As a Shift Leader at GYG, you will play a pivotal role in shaping unforgettable dining experiences. Your role will include: * Team up with fellow managers to train, lead, coach and inspire your crew while keeping the energy high on every shift * Champion a “customer-first” mindset by delivering standout service to both new faces and regular guests * Maintaining high quality food safety, cash handling, cleaning and stock control * Be a proud ambassador of GYG by making sure all crew members live and breathe our values, policies and procedures * Communicate clearly and confidently with the restaurant team to keep everyone aligned * Be hands-on with managing labour and COGS to help drive a successful, profitable store * Oversee deliveries like a pro, ensuring orders are accurate and match invoices We are looking for someone that is available for overnight shifts, with hours being between 10pm-6am. We appreciate diverse experience, but specifically, we are looking for candidates who have: * Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment * A track record of providing outstanding customer service * Completed or willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor certificate * Completed or willingness to undertake Responsible Service of Alcohol course Benefits of working with GYG: So much!
