Must Have
Conferred Certificate of Practical Nursing, Associate Degree in nursing, or higher nursing degree, Current unrestricted New Mexico or Compact license as a licensed practical or registered nurse, At least five (5) years of employment as an LPN or RN, At least two (2) years or more of clinical experience with geriatric patients in nursing homes, assisted living, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings or experience as an acute care unit-based educator
Nice to Have
Earned bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, Previous experience as a CNA, Two (2) years experience managing or teaching nursing assistants within a healthcare or educational setting, Experience teaching online, hybrid, or web-enhanced courses
What You'll Do.

providing documentation for in-completes
utilizing technology-based programs
assisting students with registration
and graduation processes
structuring classes and curriculum
distributing and utilizing instructional support materials
convening classes as scheduled
responding to student inquiries
assisting students outside the classroom through posted office hours
attending in-service sessions
college/school/department meetings
graduation and convocation
