**Job Title** Part-Time Groundskeeper **Agency** Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service **Department** Emergency Services Institute **Proposed Minimum Salary** Commensurate **Job Location** College Station, Texas **Job Type** Temporary/Casual Staff (Fixed Term) **Job Description** **Part-Time Groundskeeper** **$18.00 per hour** **3 Positions Available** **Temporary/Casual Staff** **College Station, Texas** **The Role at a Glance** The Groundskeeper, under supervision, will perform ground maintenance including mowing, weed eating, brush clearing, and trash pick-up. The Groundskeeper will also assist full-time employees with assigned FMC tasks including but not limited to class clean-up such as cleaning the lunchroom, removing hay from hay-burning projects, and equipment storage. The Groundskeeper may be required to assist other programs such as Industrial, SCBA, Mechanics, and Extinguishers with facilities/class operations. This is a part-time position. This position reports to the Construction Foreman. **Qualifications of the Role** * High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Six months of related experience in grounds maintenance. * Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment. _Equivalency: Will consider a degree from an accredited college or university in lieu of experience._ **About Us** The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is an internationally recognized leader in emergency response training, workforce training, and technical assistance.
