Full Job Description
Schedule Monday-Friday and some Saturdays depending on coverage 10:00am-3:00pm, 3:00pm-8:00pm, 4:00pm-9:00pm, 5:00pm-10:00pm, 6:00pm-11:00pm Pay Rate: $20-$24 (based on experience) What is the opportunity? Foundation Academies is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to support the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our school campuses. This role plays a key part in maintaining a welcoming and well-maintained environment for scholars, staff, families, and visitors. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in creating clean, organized spaces that support a positive learning environment. What is in it for you? Cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and performing routine floor care Emptying trash and recycling receptacles and replenishing supplies Maintaining restroom cleanliness and stocking paper products and soap Safely operating custodial equipment and using cleaning chemicals in accordance with established procedures Identifying and reporting maintenance, safety, or facility concerns Assisting with room setups and breakdowns for school events and activities Responding to custodial requests and supporting campus operations as needed Participating in seasonal deep-cleaning projects and special assignments Following all safety protocols and contributing to a positive, professional school environment What do we require from you? High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous custodial, janitorial, facilities, or maintenance experience preferred Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanline
