Industry & Context.
lifting and carrying food and supplies (typically 10 to 40 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds), standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, pushing carts, performing repetitive kitchen and cleaning tasks, maintain mental and physical alertness, respond immediately and appropriately to unexpected situations or emergencies, comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons’, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
18 years of age, high school diploma or GED, food handler certification within 30 days of hire, pass required state and company background checks
Nice to Have
Course work or certification in Nutrition, Food service experience in a childcare center, school cafeteria experience, commercial kitchen experience, high-volume food service setting experience

Plan and prepare balanced meals and snacks

Place orders through approved vendors
Partner with center staff for meal service
