What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Six months of experience performing duties in landscape, grounds maintenance, arborist, equipment operator, general handyman or similar duties in a specific skill, craft, vocation, trade or operational area of employment., Valid driver license is required at time of application., Valid AZ driver license is required at time of appointment., AZ Department of Agriculture-Office of Pesticide Management – Certified Applicator license (Category #3-Ornamental and Turf and for some areas also Category 5 –Aquatic).

Nice to Have

Minimum one (1) year experience performing duties in landscape, grounds maintenance, arborist, equipment operator, general handyman, or similar duties in a specific skill, craft, vocation, trade or operational area of employment., Minimum six (6) months field experience in masonry, carpentry, plumbing/irrigation, and/or general construction.

Perform park maintenance duties

Prune plants and trees

Maintain paths and trails

Service ramadas and restrooms

maintain urban forest

Perform minor plumbing repairs

Perform minor irrigation repairs

Operate ride-on equipment

Perform operator-level inspections

Service assigned tools and equipment

Apply paints and finishes

apply hazardous materials

Dispose of hazardous materials

Collect and dispose of waste

Maintain safety procedures

Use personal protective equipment

Explain rules and regulations

Maintain natural resource park settings

Maintain wildlife drinkers

Maintain equestrian facilities

Maintain camp facilities

Perform habitat restoration

Perform erosion control

Manage invasive species
