Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and carry/lift objects such as parking barricades weighing up to 50 pounds, Must be able to stand and/or walk up to seven hours per eight-hour shift, Must be able to provide proof of satisfactory driving record, Must be able to work outside year-round, in all types of weather with or without shelter, Must be able to work in a kiosk with varying degrees of temperature with adequate heating and cooling during all seasons, May require additional hours based on operational necessity such as working special events, Work in motor vehicle parking areas in presence of exhaust fumes, Must be able to work effectively with minimum supervision as well as work in a shared workspace with co-workers, Must be able to work under pressure and assist customers under varying traffic conditions, Must be able to work in a non-smoking environment, Regular and predictable attendance is required, This position is not telework eligible, court testimony (if subpoenaed)

One-year public contact work in a customer service, Possession of a valid Washington State motor vehicle driver's

What You'll Do.
issue parking permits
perform parking enforcement duties
provide consistent information about parking system processes and procedures
perform other parking-related field duties
install traffic control equipment
Respond to campus emergencies
Report observed safety hazards
suspicious persons or activities and damages to University property
collect daily parking fees
Issue accurate parking warnings and citations
Patrol assigned campus areas
Inspect parking lot conditions
report signage issues
conduct parking occupancy surveys
Complete special event assignments
