Job Overview The Parking Lot Attendant is responsible for patrolling the campus parking lots to guard against illegal entry, fire, theft and vandalism. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Patrol the parking lots to prevent theft and vandalism; monitors all vehicles entering and exiting the parking lot; provide protection for vehicles arriving and departing after normal working hours Patrol areas around buildings to ensure integrity of contents; guards against illegal entry, fire, theft and vandalism Enforce safety rules and regulations; observe and report unusual conditions, operations and safety hazards Assist the police officer with enforcing rules concerning parking violations and reckless driving Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the above essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities, required unless otherwise stated as preferred.
