It's a great feeling to work for a company that does so much good for others around the world! **Education** : Required – High school diploma or equivalent. **Preferred** : Bachelor’s degree in a Health and Human Services related field. **Experience** : Required – With a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years related direct service experience. **Preferred** : Bachelor’s degree will substitute for experience. **Summary** : The Parent Educator is responsible for using sound professional judgment and best practices to ensure quality services are provided to the service population especially in crisis situations while maintaining compliance with established program standards. Outreach and recruitment of participants for classes, including efforts for minimizing attrition. 2\. Establishes and maintains a trusting and professional working relationship with families by providing regular contact through personal visits. 3\. Administer intake, assessments, and screening tools to clients and family members. 4\. Utilizes intake and assessment results to establish and effectively implement goals, objectives, and activities identified with parents. 5\. Records all group and individualized services and activities in a complete, concise, and timely manner utilizing program forms into PEIRS (DFPS) and Salesforce software. 6\. Meets with Program Director on a weekly basis to evaluate status of families on caseload. 7\. Applies working knowledge of parent-child interaction, child development, and dynamics of child abuse/neglect to teach positive parenting and non-violent child management techniques, promoting healthy outcomes for fathers and their families. 8\. Reduces participant’s stress by helping them learn problem-solving and coping skills using
