At **GoHealth Urgent Care** , we prioritize the needs of our patients by delivering an effortless experience, a welcoming culture of care, and seamless integration with our health system partners and communities. ### **Job Summary** In a collaborative manner, the **Paramedic** provides support to Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologists, and patients through a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include front desk registration, vital sign collection, medical history intake, point-of-care testing, medication administration, and assisting with in-office procedures. ### **Essential Functions** * Create and maintain a welcoming environment for patients through exceptional customer service. * Verify insurance information and collect/process co-payments and deductibles. * Schedule patient appointments and coordinate provider referrals. * Secure patient information and maintain confidentiality through accurate medical recordkeeping and coding. * Conduct patient interviews, record medical history, and confirm visit purpose. * Prepare patients for exams by performing vital signs and reporting history summaries. * Assist providers with evaluations and in-office procedures; notify providers of abnormal findings.
