Attention applicants:   Do not apply for this position via the MassCareers website.   Your application will not be received.     To apply, follow the link below to the Attorney General’s Office direct application page. www.mass.gov/ago/employment .   PARALEGAL   WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS REGIONAL OFFICE (Springfield)   The Attorney General’s Office is looking for a highly motivated individual to provide paralegal and administrative support to its Western Massachusetts Regional Office (WMAS) located in Springfield, MA.   WMAS staff handle legal matters from various areas of the Attorney General’s Office (AGO), including the Criminal, Energy & Environmental, Government, Health Care & Fair Competition, and Public Protection & Advocacy Bureaus. The WMAS Office also provides on-site assistance to residents with civil rights, consumer, and labor issues, and serves as a regional hub for the implementation of AGO-wide priorities that involve community outreach, education, and policy initiatives.   Primary Duties : The Paralegal provides day-to-day paralegal and administrative support to attorneys across multiple divisions including the Gaming Enforcement Division , Human Trafficking Division , and Neighborhood Renewal Division , with supplemental support to the False Claims Division . Division assignments may change based on the needs of the Office.   Position Type :   Full-Time/ Exempt.
