Inspects incoming parts for flaws or lack of finish and notifies supervisor of exceptions. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS** * Performs basic metal preparation for specified paint applications * Ability to work independently with supervision (self-starter/self-motivated) * Under direct supervision, applies primer to parts and paint in accordance with AMSI and/or customer specifications and requirements * Assists in organizing and cleaning storage areas to maintain efficient operation * Read and understand basic drawings and schematics * Assist higher level Painters in the preparation and painting process * Provide input on quality, cost, and production issues * Assist in the det
