You’ll do steady, hands-on work that prevents rework and helps the team deliver quality results. You’ll join Schenck, a Coperion brand – part of Hillenbrand in Sabetha, Kansas. We build equipment used in industrial manufacturing, and your careful prep work will help keep our products consistent, safe, and ready for the next step. **WHAT YOU’LL DO:** * Clean parts before painting using approved cleaners and tools, and follow safety rules for chemicals and waste. * Mask off areas that should not be painted by using tape, covers, or plugs, and keep surfaces free from dirt, oil, and dust. * Hang, rack, or place parts on fixtures the right way so painters can coat them evenly and safely. * Install basic parts or hardware before painting by following step-by-step work instructions. * Move and stage parts or units on skids or in staging areas so the right items are ready when needed. * Handle and dispose of used solvents, rags, and other materials the right way to meet environmental and plant requirements. * Check your work as you go, report problems (damage, missing parts, wrong masking, or safety hazards), and keep your area clean using 5S habits. **TEAM:** * You’ll work with paint, assembly, material handling, and quality teammates, and you’ll share updates so work moves smoothly. You’ll treat people with respect, speak up about safety or quality concerns, and help create a workplace where everyone can do good work and belong. **THE EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES NEEDED:** * High school diploma or GED. * Ability to do hands-on work in a manufacturing or production area, including repetitive tasks. * Ability to follow written work instructions and match what you’re doing to the work order. * Comfort using basic hand tools, tape, and masking materials, and willingness to learn new methods. * Ability to w
